Cancelled

Have just had a message from L saying she won't be able to make it as she has been called out on an emergency. Hate myself for being so needy that it made me cry.

    Oh hun, you know I totally understand how you feel at the moment with the situation with my social worker, I know it's different but the way it's making me feel with her disappearing acts leaves me feeling really needy as well :(

    I don't know if this makes sense or if I'm just going to embarrass myself here; but whilst I know my SW has many other people she sees, sometimes I guess I like to believe I'm the only one. Or to be more specific, when I am in crisis and distress, and I am told she has to go to an emergency, sometimes I come close to tears wanting to scream "I am in crisis, am I not an emergency??"

    I hope when you see your GP later you might get the chance to have a chat with them so you feel like you have had a bit of support today. Sending you hugs xx

    Thanks honey. I think you definitely hit on something with me feeling in crisis myself, and therefore it being harder hearing she has had to go to an emergency.

    rielouise - I believe there is another Bippidee, which I didn't know when I started this blog. I only know now because I wanted to move over to Wordpress, but the name was already taken there, and on Twitter.
